President of SRO “The association of bookmakers’ Darin Denisov gave his comments on Sberbank CIB report concerning the development of the BK license in Russia.

 Sberbank CIB experts believe that the average annual rate of development indicators in the field of online betting in the general body of betting will be equal to 30%. Forecasts put the period up to 2022.

 Head of Industrial Organization said that in a situation of severe fiscal pressure from the government online betting market countries, even despite the growth, is unlikely to grow at such a pace. In her opinion, the announcement of the results on the growth of the online segment is too high.

 In addition, Darin Denisova believes that thanks to this data in layman might get the wrong idea that legitimate bookmakers are easy profit.

 However, the head of the Association at the same time expressed its agreement on the bookmakers customer transition to the Internet segment of the ground. This has a positive impact on online betting and explains the speed and convenience of online betting. For this reason, most of the betting companies from the SRO now focused on pushing into the online environment, the head of the branch organization.

 Based on data provided by Sberbank CIB in terms of legal online betting by 2022, the president of the SRO clarified that such indicators are more suitable as a long-term, but not in the next three years. The authors report the entire market by 2022 is estimated at 1.52 trillion rubles, separately online betting – 742 billion rubles.

 The government has made only one step towards legal business – it’s the law, greatly simplifies the procedure of identification of new clients online BC. This contributes to an increase in competition with the ‘shadow’ offices by companies licensed and will help increase the number of customers.
